Any mirrored surface can be artfully transformed with the Amy Howard at Home® Antique Mirror Stripper and Mirror Solution, even mirror insets. After completing the stripping and antiquing process, use One Step Paint or Furniture Lacquer to complete the effect.

In general, mirrors shipped from overseas do not use true silver and thus do not react appropriately to provide an antique mirror effect. Mirror Stripper and Mirror Solution only work on mirrors manufactured in the United States. We recommend testing Amy Howard at Home Antique Mirror Stripper and Antique Mirror Solution on a small piece of your mirror before beginning a large project.
